Another one for iOS 27, CarPlay Maps app freezes, have to unplug and replug… super annoying when I miss my turn

There’s this weird Dynamic Island thing happening with Siri in iOS 27, driving me crazy. It feels like a UI bug… like it hesitates and then the Siri bubble shows up. Makes the interaction feel very jarring 🙂↔️

Asked Siri AI and it gave me the answer 🙌🏽 “Touch and hold an empty space on your Home Screen until the icons begin to jiggle, tap Edit in the top-left corner and select Customize. From there, choose Dark to always use dark icons, or Automatic to have them switch alongside your system settings.”

I’m on iOS 27, maybe it’s been like this from before, but my icons are not in dark mode… even though my phone is. I didn’t realize it until a few days ago, and can’t figure out how to fix it 🥺

Beginning to think of Fable as the humanities and Astra as the engineering, based on things I’ve asked, and the results from the same requests. Both can do either, but both are stronger at one thing than the other 🤔

Rate limiting my password manager login, for a local app… yep, def gonna investigate moving everything to Apple ecosystem. All comes down to “It just works.”
